if you go back there later in the game, Ribald offers to show you his secret stash of gear. As far as i know, there is no other way to get it.

The secret stash is only available after coming back from the Underdark...
There is no secret door that I know of.
Now how is that for service...3 answers within 2 mintues of each other..
