help, tryin to figur out name of game

There was this rts/rpg game I played the demo for a few years ago. I think it had the word Fantasy in the name. It allowed you to build up you castle and build buildings around it. You could hire different types of units, but you didnt give them direct orders. You placed bounties on monsters and stuff heads. The graphics were Starcraft era. You could build a blacksmith, and you units could go upgrade themselves. They would gain xp everytime they killed something. Anybody know what this game is? I wanna look it up.

I had this demo... floppy and all... bit like everything you'd ever seen, and finally I figured out it was called Wizardry! Now chief Fable, did THAT ever become anything?

Bumbling? Where do you get bumbling? How well do you think you would play when the marrow is suddenly extracted from all your bones at the one and same time? You'd look pretty silly, let me tell you.

As for a Majesty 2, it was finally released about 18 months after the original--and proved to be nothing more than an expansion pack, with a few new professions to work for you. It was released as "the Northern Expansion" of Majesty, by Infogrammes. The original was published by Microprose, in the sad, waning days of its empire.

well, sometimes. I just get so incredibly furious with the AI that I can't play for too long without wanting to kick the little pixellated hero bastards

the expansion had some fixes, but you can only really buy it online these days.

mind you, fighting off a horde of minotaurs who had almost entirely destroyed my base with a gang of three wizened low-level wizards was a high point in the game.

No no no Fable, there is going to be a Majesty 2! The Northern Expansion- i already knew bout that. The homepage of Majesty has a pack you can buy of Majesty and the Northern Expansion. Majesty 2 is going to be 3d! Oh yeah, I found it on Ebay fo 1 dolla

And with the expansion its like 10 bucks

Hmmm... I sense something odd about a game to be at the price of one dollar.

I've heard of the rumors of a Majesty 2 as well. From what I've read on GameSpot.com, it's to be called Majesty: Legends, and the released date is to be announced.

Sounds neat. I'm glad to see they've returned to this title. Despite what Gamespot may say, I don't recall the original being quite the run-away hit they make out, but it did well at the time.

Gamespy.com also mentions of Majesty Legends as well, so this is not a rumor. My guesses are that it may truly be in the works, but there could be something going on that's halting the release, or that the developers are putting A LOT into this game which is holding back the release.

Have you seen any recent articles on it, though? I have to wonder if they haven't pushed it back in favor of some other project. Such things have happened before.

The latest article I found was from mid-May of 2003 saying that Majesty Legends was in the prototype stage. Sounds like it may come out some time this year.
