Deekin won't talk to me anymore

Possilbe SPOILER warning.

I'm the the Asabi camp, and Deekin unfortunately got toasted by a Shield Guardian. I have healed him, and he's standing in the hallway not doing anything, but he won't talk to me.

At this point in the game, I don't even have any options for other henchmen, anybody have an idea of what I can do?

Well- appart from loading - I don't really have many ideas.

I don't know if killing him and bringing him back again will help?
