Cheat problem

Post by the one jedi ma »

As it says everywhere on the net you have to type EnableCheats=1 under game options in swokotor.ini
Well I did that and nothing happened. Even worse I think when i try to press ' or ~ the game starts acting strange, I think that when I do that the game will chrash after a few minutes. I was expecting that a console would fall down like it did in Jedi academy, but nothing.
So please someone make a trainer that has the option for god, an things like that, a money trainer is already available. OR maybe if there is someone that has an anwser to my problem it would be very helpfull!

OK THX! for listening to my long speech! I hope you can help me :p Rok

After playing through the PC version twice "fairly" I decided to try it with some 'edges'... not god mode, but just some really cool-looking gear.

Anyway, there is no drop-down console, but there is a little > symbol in the upper left, after which you type your commands. Seems to work fine for me. /shrug

Only thing I can think to do would be to check the INI file to make sure you spelled everything correctly. Not sure if capitalization matters, but it might...

Under the Game Options heading, at the bottom of the list, below DisableMovies=0 add "EnableCheats=1" on its own line.

And make sure not to save it in some foreign format. That is, make sure it's still a "text" file... if you inadvertently saved it as an RTF format file or something, then the game would possibly create a NEW ini file with the default settings... but then, if that had happened, the filenames would be different... so that's not it... Hm. I dunno.

Hmm, maybe capitalization does matter. I haven't thought of that. Gonna try that right away.
