Easy Cash!

Post by Krollir »

*Please Note: this is classed as cheating*

Some of you might know this one...

When you talk to the merchant in Nashkel, he tells you that he'll pay 500gp for Winter Wolf Pelts. The fastest way is to go the the Nashkel Mines. In the little area you arrive in, just sleep and the Wolves will come, two at a time. After you get about 8 Pelts head back to the merchant and he'll pay you for the Pelts, one at a time.

.:the Easy Cash! bit (Cleric or Mage required):.
You then should notice the Pelts on the floor just under the merchant's feet (if not then try getting more Pelts). Get your Cleric or Mage to cast Charm Person/Mammal on the merchant and as soon as he's in your control, just move him, pick up the Pelts and talk to him again. He'll keep paying you for the Pelts, but after he comes out of the charm he will turn "red" on you, and you'll have to charm him again if you want to use him in the future.
The sinister majesty of the summoning chamber served as a pointed reminder to the one-eyed assassin that Krollir Venastin - the Righteous Man - was not only the guildmaster for the Night Knives but a servant of Mask the Shadowlord

An easier way to make a lot of money is to do the stack potions trick to get hundreds of potions then sell them at a temple. I don't know why you would want to however since money was never much of a problem in BG.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the stack potions trick? I don't remember being able to sell things at the temples either...

It has been a while since I've played BG however...
