you can get 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first, have yoshi or nalia drink many potions of master thievery and pickpocket tolgarious in the government district...1
next, go to the umar hills, then take valygar into your party...go to the slums district, then while he is in the party, open the door to the planar sphere...
kill him, (-2 rep loss) and sell the body to tolgarious...actually i think you can pickpocket valygar's body off valygar...when you sell tolgarious the body, you get another ring as reward...2
when you kill tolgarious in the sphere, he has a third one on him...3
the ring is an excellent, superb item...3 rings will kill kangy, and can be recharged simply by putting it in a gem bag...

i decided to go with bodhi.. and now i have a question.
she says i have limited time to do the second quest for her.. rescuing a hostage from the thieve's guild.
if i go on the umar hills quest, will this hinder my progress and will the hostage die?
also, where cna i buy potions of master thievery? im guessing waukeens promenade.

You can go on the Umar Hills quest after you rescue the hostage. Otherwise I think you only have 3 days which probably won't be enough time.Originally posted by keeB

I usually buy potions of Master Thievery at the Thieve's Guild or Mae'var's guild, but that won't help you if you have sided with Bodhi. You can try the Adventure Mart in Waukeen's promenade or the Copper Coronet in the Slums. I am pretty sure Roger has some in the Sewers (Temple District).
SPOILERS
Also there are one or two in a bookshelf in the central Estate (can't remember what it's called...the one next to the Temle of Helm, not the one near the entrance). I think they are located in the upper floor, in the NE room, but it has been awhile. You will have to fight a few guards to get to it.
Resistance to Tyrants is Service to God.
i ended up just doing it anyway, and i figured, what the hell, if i mess the game plot up, i can just start again.. i actually did well and killed the dragon (so proud of myself!) and after that i knew the shade lord and everyone would be a piece of cake.
I returned a little bit with wonder, unknowing if the hostage would still be alive. To my luck, he was, and the shadow thieves were a very easy fight. i returned to bodhi, and got the quest to kill aran linvail. This is when i decided to do the Unseeing Eye quest, which is where i am stuck right now (Goddamn Beholders!)
=)
Thanks for the help, guys!

No, not that one. It does damage to everyone near the user, and does a blow-back like dragon buffet. You get it from near the wolves...
The closest I can think to that in the line of rings is the Ring of Energy, though I thought you buy that in the Adventurer Mart. Still, I remember that only doing something like Burning Hands or Agannazar's Scorcher.
Overall, I have no clue, just trying to identify your mysterious item, Ron.

That's not a ring but the Horn of Blasting.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

they cant put time limits on the bodhi/aran linvail quests because it would stop the game if you failed to meet the deadline. The worst they would be able to do is lower experience or reward.

I'll have to take someone over there to find it. The only reason I remember it is because I always cart it around even though it really, really, sucks.
