Stale Mary-some spoilers

Post by Incertainty »

How in heaven's name do you get her to tell you how to meet the silent king? Are their characteristeric requirements? Quests that need to be fullfilled? I've already uncovered Soego as a traitor and I have a Chr of 15, Wisdom 21 and Intelligence 19. TThe rest is at 9. Plz respond.

She'll tell you how to meet the Silent King if your Charisma is 16 or higher.

Ok, then I've got a problem.... I've got about 65k exp as a mage and need 90k for a level advancement that can provide me with the extra point of charisma. I've done nearly every quest I can do in the Hive till now. All I can think of is the 7500 exp from Many-as-One. And even then... somz help?

Did you buy that funny little modron doll in the Curiosity Shoppe? Once you get it identified by the modrons in the Brothel of Slaking Intellectual Lusts, it's just a matter of fiddling around with the legs and arms until the thing works. Then you can enter the control room to the southwest, offer to become project leader, and reset the environment for medium or hard. Do that repeatedly, and you'll not only gain experience quickly, but useful items for resale, as well.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Or you can start by killing all the abishais wandering around the hive. They will respawn so it's easy to get the extra exp. :)
