Is it possible to join multiple factions?
Can I get out of factions after I joined them?
And will joining a faction have a severe impact on your alignment?
I know it about the Chaosmen, but what about Godsmen?

You can be a member of only one faction at a time. They are exclusive--that's why they're called "factions". 
If you join a faction, you can quit later if you like and join another faction. (By joining a new faction, you automatically leave the previous faction.) In order to leave a faction, you have to renounce your membership and everything that faction stands for (otherwise, the new faction won't let you join), and if you do that, they will never let you back in. (Can you blame them?)

Joining a faction doesn't affect your alignment, but your alignment can affect whether you're able to join a faction, or not. The Chaosmen whom you mention, for example, won't allow in lawful characters.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
