gem of weave trying to get to castle passage

hey i have got the green gem frome the statue by the house of gems and iron bar told me to put it on the back of a dragon statue but i cant find one i dont remember ever seeing one i am ready to finish this game but i cant find nothing in the walk through as what to do next plese someone help :confused:

Ironbar should have given you a Hinged Device to put on the broken statue outside. Use this to gain entrance below and get a new gem of the weave.
