I've been noticing that my sorcerer's ac kept dropping to -1 when it should've been -3.
After a while i found out that this was due to staff of magi and ring of gaxx. I had to unequip both and re-equip them for the ac to be -3 again.
I just wondered why it happened.
Then I found out when a dispelling spell(remove magic or dispel magic) cast on the sorc, would dispell the staff of magi protections
i havent had this problem but try to go to http://www.baldurdash.org/index.html there are fixes for almost anything and i think i saw a solution to your problem I cheked and there is a fix for this. it also fixes the not working protectio from evil wich appeared but never worked
