Problems w/stutter in ToB

I have been playing through the game with the Tashia mod installed and can't seem to resolve the stutter bug now that I've got to ToB. It first emerged after the Arlistan battle, but after reinstalling ease-of-use and tashia it seemed to work after that. This is in the midst of attempting concurrent Jaheira and Aerie romances, though those I seemed to be able to successfully continue without the concurrent romance part of tactics.

Anyway, it's now ToB and while Tashia herself is working, Jaheira and Aerie are stuttering terribly. No amount of mod re-installation seems to fix it. Now, the question to those who may be in the know is: might a full re-installation fix the problem or should I just give up on the concurrent romances and attempt to kill off two of the three by shadowkeeper?

I'd suggest reinstalling BG2.... it takes like ½h so that should be no problem anyway....... Also seing if there can be any conflicting romances going.....

Do you mean to say here that doing the concurrent romances should be scrapped altogether? I would like to keep them if possible. It had worked when I romanced both Viconia and Sola but it seems that it doesn't really work with Tashia installed.

I had the same stuttering problem, I distinctly remember that I tweaked the concurrent romance with Jaheira via SK. It worked after that. I even changed the romance variable back so that the two romances run concurrently again. And yes, I did uninstall and install BG2, though how it fixed the problem escapes me to this day.

Ok, thanks. I reinstalled and was still having problems but it seems to be ok having killed off Aerie romance. Tashia's working ok and Jaheira's still set at RomanceActive 1, having just killed Dermin in front of the statues before Illasera battle. So that may go bad again if the romance gets completed. But the romances are fairly periphery and at least the stutter's gone.
