Gilstpur (sp) Quests

Post by Kalazban »

Hi... i realize this message board is probably not very active anymore, but anyway i will try my luck...

Back in the day i finished PS: T 2 times, once chaotic neutral and one neutral good...

I ve been playing it again recently (having a blast, this game is the best rpg on PC IMHO) and my alignment is chaotic evil (kinda in a bad mood these days :D ).

Well onto the point.

I pissed off Penn, the print shop manager before i did giltspur quests which means he basically threw me out twice and locked the door... i ve hexed the strength of NO to 25 to break the door... didnt work; hexed Annah to godly skills in breaking locks... didnt work...

looked for a console, there isnt any.

Searched the whole forum and some others, didnt find anything...

So basically, am i screwed out of this quests ? It s rather annoying since i wont be able to enter the foundry before a while if i have to go the other path...

help anyone ?

Yup you're screwed for that quest.
To get into the Foundry you'll have to get your legacy with the receipt in it.

Without spoiling too much, there is a lot of xp to be had in that foundry, and a nice weapon that you can get near the end of the quest. Penn also has a minor quest involving Juliette's love letter which I found quaint. Coming back to the point, if you don't have to back track too much with an earlier save, I suggest that you use an earlier save prior to pissing him off.

You'll have another oppurtunity to get into the foundry - the handbill isn't necessary. Hint: Don't make the advocate mad. ;)
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
