Communication by Poetry

Post by Mr Sleep »

Since I seem to have lost the ability to formulate a sentence (see PDA thread) then I will from now on, until the day I decide I can't be arsed, communicate through rubbish poetry.

Hopefully everyone is okay
with that
if not
I don't care
My poetry is the wave of the
future
You know it to be
true
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Have a good
weekend
and remember
to take in
lots of fresh air
and water
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Poetry invading SYM?
Does everyone think it will be like a gem.
All I want is a new wave CD.
Why is no one listening to me?
I see Gwally beat me to the punch.
Now Im going to think what I want for lunch.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Now Im all confused.
Kam must be quite amused.
I wish I understood whats going on.
If I did, it would be like a new dawn.

Now I know I aint no wiz.
But I understand what a haiku is.
Would someone please stop me from rhyming.
Because I think my brain is slowly dying.

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs,
But still you manage to rhyme "rhyming" with "dying",
Then you need a slap.

Five, seven, five, are
syllables of image chanced,
contrast, truth-- haiku!

On poetry at 1:20 a.m.

Poetry in motion
Like a masseuse with lotion
Must slip and slide
And not abide,
by any other notion
But if perchance a wayward thought
Becomes a poem,
then so wot?
It all amounts to much the same,
I yada,
You yada,
We yada

It can't be
you have gone to the trouble of
rhyming
that is simply too skilled
I prefer more stream of conciousness
ergo
crap

of course if all fails then
orange
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

With the constrains of verse
I needs must be terse;
We are not poets
Now everyone knows it.
If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach

It seems so easy to rhyme
Just writing line after line
But it's something not all of us can do
And yes I'm talking about me too
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

Robnark's Belittling Haiku

This thread of Sleep's has
degenerated into
painful rhyming crap :p
Here where the flattering and mendacious swarm
Of lying epitaths their secrets keep,
At last incapable of further harm
The lewd forefathers of the village sleep.

@Robnark

To insult a thread of a mod
Is similar to insulting a god
You cannot run away or hide
Unless you are with BuckSatan allied

His wrath shall upon you descend
Like the wrath of a certain American president.
I can only hope
That with this you will cope.
