Where the @#$^ is this Dermin dude

I have played through the game 3 times and have never been able to finish the Jaheria Romance. Other posts about this mention someone named Dermin. I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS DUDE!!!! I've done everything else mentioned in the romance posts, I just cannot find Dermin. HELP!!!!!!!

Dermin is Jaheira mentor and one of the rogue harpers, he shows up three times but only if you do the "harpers quest".

OK, I've been to the Harper Hold and killed Galvarey and the others, but I never get anything else related to the Harper's. Am I doing something wrong. What chapter does this need to occurr.

You should get attacked by a group of Harpers somepoint soon after that. You have to have Jaheira in your party obviously. For me it happened right after Bodhi's lair in Chapter 3.

You will get, from time to time, harpers finding you, the first is a realy harper and she will attack you or not depending on reputation (18 and + she will not) then comes Dermin, the first two times he is alone and will not attack you, the last time he will attack you and have some friends.
I got harpers in trademeer, city gates, de´Armise keep, I also got harpers in Chapter 2 and 6, so it will only happens if you are in the main land.
I think that is time dependent, try traveling to trademeet and other areas outside Athkatla to see if they show up.
