I need help with the Snow Globe quest!

How do you repair the amulet of ages to stop the fighting between the dryads and the dwarfs?
Since I play with a female character it is the dwarfs that are the "bad guys". But if i listen to the dryad leader it sounds like i have to persuade the dwarfs to repair the amulet before the dryad can imbue it with magic.

But how do I get the dwars to repair the amulet

Remember, the globe can be turned around from the outside....

....or just had the dragon his heart, that works too.

Before you enter the globe you have the option to turn the globe when outside. This has an effect on the inside world because it chances the moods of the dwarfs and dryads inside. First time dwarfs attack but next time after turning the globe the dryads will attack and you can talk to the dwarfs and so on.
