What Sorts of Collections Do You Have?

Post by Tybaltus »

Well I was talking with Garazdawi in the Flop House and he mentioned he has a folder full of Hockey cards somewhere, and I figured it could trigger a good conversation....

I, personally, have a collection of die-cast (Sort of metal) NASCAR cars. I think I have about 75-125 die cast cars in perfect/mint condition. I dont do anything with them, except look at them and admire them. I hope one day they might be worth something, if they arent, well they still look cool.

I also collected DC Comics cards way back when I was a little kid, I think the cards are 10 years old this year, and I have the full set for that year, and all but 1 are in perfect condition. :D

So what does everyone else have for collections?

LOL :D Yeah, thats what I did when I first got them, then I looked at them once, and thought it would be cool just to collect them and keep them in good condition. I have another 100 die cast cars nowhere NEAR mint condition, but oh well, live and learn. :D

@Rob LOL :D You can never go wrong with collecting money. When you know it always has a certain value no matter what condition its in......unless it is horribly deformed. :D

I collect rare Anime Mangas. Somewhere around here, I have a manga worth a few hundred American dollars. It's a fun hobby. :)

I've been trying to keep up with the American quarters, too... But, I just can't keep pace. :o ;)

My old man got me started on it. :D He has some pretty rare coins, and I'll be the inherit to several thousands dollars worth of coins. I figure that I just as well get the set of 50 quarters started. :)

I heavily lean towards the exploration part. Punishment was never my thing :D
