Wizards of the Coast just released City of the Spider Queen which conveniently fits in with their quintology R. A. Salvatore's War of the Spider Queen. I only had a minute to flip through it, but I don't think its central focus is on Menzoberranzan. You might check out Dragon Magazine's archives; they have run several features over the year about the drow and they may have some other resources available.

You might take a look in The Forgotten Realms Campaign settings book, It's VERY useful for..... just about every thing! If you haven't got it, Bye it! :) :)

The Power Of Google

Google search either "drow cities of the forgotten realms" or "Ched Nasad of the Forgotten Realms" you can get some great info on all these places and some cool quests you can do in them as well

If you manage to find a copy of "Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide To The Underdark", Buy it because it should have a fair bit of info on other drow cities explained in the character of Drizzt. Either by the mythos "I learned about it in the Academy" or by the mythos "I was part of a patrol near there". That's all I can think of. Sorry if it doesn't say anything about other cities.

Theres a little of Sshamath (which you spelt correctly) in Underdark, Ched Nassad is in there too. They are both in Drizzt Do'Urdan's Guide to the Underdark.
I can only find Sschindylryn in The Campaign Setting.

Eryndlyn

Have you tried looking up Eryndlyn one of menzo's neighboring cities granted it may be difficult finding a map of it but it beats useing the typical Menzo and Ched Nasad (especially depending on the time line you're useing, Ched Nasad was burn to the ground by the duergar "fire pots")

Ummm... why resurrect thread almost four years of old? The starter hasn't even been active in along time, so he probably doesn't read this anymore.
