Assassin question...

i have a friend who plays NWN and swears he is playing an assassin, i havent had a chance to go to his house yet to see it but he isnt the kind of person who makes these things up, as he knows eventually i will get to his house and have him show me. He is currently out of town and i have not been able to find anything anywhere about how to become and assassin. I hope its possible because I think the kit setups they have so far pretty much suck! Anyone have any input on this? Any help would be appreciated!

The assassian is simply a way to configure your rogue.
When you create a rogue, (or any class for that matter) you get to select divide skillpoints, here you can choose a "package" where the skill points have already been divided out amongst some skills.

These packages doesn't wield any new skills or bonus' compared to any other packages.

So your friends assassian is simply a rogue with a package that have divided out his skillpoints for him, instead of doing it himself
