Hey people, does anyone know whether the deflection bonus from a ring of protection and from a cloak of protection vs evil stack up? I mean when I put on a ring of protection and a cloak of prot. vs evil it doesnt say that you have 2 or more items that give same armor bonus and they wont stack up. Anyone know about this?

No they won't stack. Bonuses of the same type never stack under any circumstances, except for dodge bonuses. You didnt get the prompt for having 2 items of the same type because the bonus from the cloak only affects combat with evil creatures. When using to of the same bonus type only the higher has any affect. Thus if you had a ring of prot +2 and a cloak of prot from evil +4 your AC would be +2 better vs evil opponents but as you have it now you will get no effect from the cloak.
It is best to be thought a fool and stay silent, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
