a few questions

Post by AruthaconDoin »

Hi,

I'm half way the main halls and I have a few questions which have been bothering me for some time.

1) How do I make a sneak attack? Sometimes it just happens, but I don't know how I did it then.

2) Is there another way than with magic to defeat a wraith or shadow?

3) I found Jarial, but I already have a sorcerer/rogue and a sorcerer/monk in my party, so I want to multiclass Jarial. Which class shoud I choose? Of course I could find out myself, but I already have a very hard time playing this game.

4) How can I prevent being hacked into pieces when trying to cast ghoul touch and shocking grasp on a monster?

5) Does it matter which weapon you give to a charachter if those weapons have the same qualities? For example: I can give my fighter/cleric a battle axe +1 and a mallet +1. Both deliver 1-8 damage. Does it matter what I choose?

6)How do the skills hide, move silently, spot and listen work? I never hear anything of them!

Thanks in advance

Ok here it goes

1) Sneak attacks occur when your opponents are caught flat footed, but i don't really know how it works, it is again been calculated by the game.

2) Any magical weapon can hit wraiths or shadows but they don't always do damage.

3) I don't remember Jarial's stat but i guess he could be multi to a fighter or cleric.

4) These spells require you to also make a successful hit when attacking in order for the spell to be cast otherwise the spell is wasted.

5) No

6) These skills are used automatically, for example if you near to an opponent the character throughs a dice according to his skill of move silently and if you fails the opponent will notice him sooner and might have the advantage to attack first.
