Okay I did most of the challenge except for the room with the invisible stalkers..I just want to check whether or not that is where I need to go to get the item I need. The fact that they are purple just intimidates me...thanks if you can help
Hmmm, I can't remember if there is an item there or not, but if you can't take the stalkers at your level, just lure them into the light like your rival suggested.

Yes I believe there is an item in there that you need. To kill them just run in the room have them chase you out. Then run to that big pillar of light. The pillar will kill them with a flash of light.
