D&D spoof on Dexter's Lab...

Post by Skuld »

Ok, I'm flipping through the channels and I see some fantasy-esque cartoon characters on cartoon network so I watch for a while. After a few minutes of these guys running around in a maze, the view switches to Dexter's kitchen and there's 3 kids at the table and Dexter(the "Game Master") sitting behind a barrier(the Game Master's reference tables). It turns out they're playing "Monster's and Mazes" and Dexter is cheating on the die rolls so his sister takes over. Dexter wants to be a lvl 38 Fighter/Mage of sorts, so Didi hands him a halfling miniature and says, "you can be this guy." As it turns out his name if Hodo the furry-footed borrower. If that isn't a rip off of LOTR I dunno what is. But my point is that it was just funny, neither good nor bad, but funny. And I also just remembered how Eliot's brother and his friends were playing D&D right before they found ET. Well that one didn't have a point, I'm just babbling, don't mind me.

Caramon had picked up a stick, was slashing it about, pretending it was a sword. "I wouldn't want to go there. I know that. And that teacher. He has a face like a frog. He looks mean. Do you think that he'll whip you?"
~
"If he does," Raistlin said, thinking of what Antimodes had told him, "it will be just another blow of the hammer."

"You think he'll hit you with a hammer?" Caramon demanded horrified. He halted in the middle of the road. "You shouldn't go to that place, Raist."
