Metagamic Spell Feats
Metagamic Spell Feats
How do u use the metagamic spell feats, because it is not explained well in the manual/tutorial. And I don't mean how to obtain them, but what the descriptions means, like "occupies spell slot higher, etc.
-=Slikk like mercury...but solid at room temperature=-
Occupies two spell slots higher means that if, for example, you empower your favorite 2nd level spell, it will now take up a 4th level spell slot.
You're effectively making the spell more powerful, and as such it becomes a "virtual" 4th level spell instead of 2nd.

"Terrible hamster justice shall be wreaked upon you! GO FOR THE EYES, BOO, GO...!"
Depends somewhat on your class.
If you spontaneously cast (Sorc/Bard), then you decide right when you cast it if it's Empowered/Maximized/Whatever. In the 'Cast Spell' section of the radial menu there's a 'Metamagic' spot which lists what you can do.
If you prepare, then you have to decide if it's Metamagic'd as part of the preparation. In your spellbook, check the level for what the spell WILL be (in other words, an empowered Magic Missle will be level 3), and check the appropriate Metamagic Feat. It will list all spells you can prepare like that. Casting then follows the Sorc/Bard route.
You can also hotkey those metamagic spells, same as you would a normal spell (only selecting 'metamagic' on the radial menu).
