Finished (spoiler)

well, I finished the game last night, man was i dissapointed. Me, Minsc and Keldorn, and I think Nalia were all level 19, Anomen was 18 and Imoen was 16. After a pretty hard battle at the tree of life. ( I felt lucky to beat Irenicus without a reload) We went on to hell. What a letdown, I spent 30 minutes reading spell definitions so that i would be sure to have the right buffing spells, and anti magic spells, and setting up everyones equipment, then walked in there and crushed Irenicus the first time! We killed the demons and then 2 slayers and I was waiting for the real Irenicus to show up and then the game ended!! Iguess maybe I had too large a party at too high levels, Oh well, I guess I'll buy TOB now. Do I start from my final save before attacking Irenicus?

Load the final save and then beat Irenicus, then you will automatically go on to ToB (I think, I don't have ToB--sad, I know). As far as the ease of the battle goes, what difficulty were you on? If you're disappointed with the challenge, raise it.

No, reload ure a save in hell, then put in all the tears. once u put the last one in , pause and save. then when u get TOB import that game. That way u will get the bonuses. If u import just the final save u won't. Just a little trick i learned.

Keep in mind that you are stronger then and TOB could be to easy for your likeing, just like BG.(if you think that)
IMO if you are a bit weaker, the game is more fun... but everybody want's to be as powerfull as that could be. Just for the fun of it, so don't let that stop you!

TOB can be difficult enough at times.
