Importing/Exporting OE Mail
Importing/Exporting OE Mail
I noticed that OE5.5 will not import mail into OE6, is there a way around this?

Well you aren't given the option, when one clicks on file>import and it doesn't have one for 5.5 only 5, and it doesn't seem to recognise 5.5 as 5....make sense?Originally posted by Ned Flanders

The easiest method is probably to export the address book from OE as a CSV file and then import into Opera.Originally posted by K0r/\/f1@k€$
On a related note, is there any way to import address books from OE to Opera?

I tried that, it didn't work, i am beginning to think that the file's were corrupt....not a problem, thanks Mr FlibbleOriginally posted by Mr Flibble
OE5.5 and 6 have the same file structures for messages. You can simply import the messages as if they are from an older version of the program.
I also tried just putting them in the directory but it seemed to need them imported.
