Stuck in WK lvl2-Help

Before I took on Yaga shura I cleared the level with the chromatic demon.
I killed the demon and returned to the main story line i.e. killed Yaga Shura.Now however I cant seem to access the lower levels.When I try to enter the portal that leads me down I get a message like "you need to find something to go on".
What am I missing?

As the Chromatic Demon told you, you were supposed to retrieve four rods so that they could be assembled into a "key" that would open the portals on the second level. When you gave the rods to the demon, he assembled the "key". Search the demon's body for the "key", and then use it to open the portals. If you can't find it, the cheat code for it is "plot03e".

Or can't you go down into watcher's keep??
If that's the problem you probally left the (wat's it called, sorry i forgot) inside.

If that's so you have a bigproblem and can only re-enter WK using shadowkeeper, cause that items is neaded to go through the seal.

Sorry I don't remember the stones name.

You might have lost the Vigil Stone, can you access the keep at all?
