Recent going-ons...?!?

Post by Karembeu »

Been a while since last time... So what has been going on here during the last couple of months...?!? Are the old regulars still around (Weasel, Mr Sleep, Xandax, Gruntboy...etc), or have some of them left and "caught up with reality"... "Bassie" hasn't returned yet has he?!?

Hello, Karembeu. :) How are you?

I acutally expected you to show up for World Cup! :D I'm off to Spain next week. Maybe watch Spain's first match in a bar in Andalucia... :D

I don't think I knew you before so hi :) . There've been quite a few goings on lately, check out the DF discussion thread mk 2 for the most recent.

No more Baasie (excepting Kayless :D ), but AR has been pulling some remarkably Baasie-like stunts of late.

Haha...something like that... Tension is really building up in time for the World Cup...I can't believe it has been 4 years since France won...
Just returned for a couple of laughs and some fun...everyone still sane (except Gruntboy of course) and everything still running smoothly here?!?

Haha...smooth maybe...but I find it very hard to imagine anyone here being sane... ;) Everyone here seems to be doing fine...nothing much seems to have happened except the thousands of posts that you have all added...so has anyone reached the big 10 000 yet?!?

I see...figured it stood between you and Weasel...so what has happened to Weasel...?!? With the rate he was spamming last time I was around I would have expected him to be nearing 20 000 posts...

@Y: Thank you... :) Everything's just fine here...the sun is shining, World Cup is steadily getting closer, schools will soon be finishing for the term...and I have millions of things that have to be done... ;) So what has been happening around here?!? Any new "regulars" that are worth mentioning?!?

Cool! Yes there are a few :) some have been around as long as I have but took their time to join SYM :D I will not embarass them by naming names, but a good place to find any of them would be in any of the bars in SYM ;)

Hello Karembeu, nice to see you again. Yep, whether has been great the last few days, I spent the whole afternoon discussing future collaborations with a colleague from another lab - luckily this kind of meeting can easily be held at a nice outdoor cafe in the sunshine :D

Re the World cup, Sweden and England are in the same group - I foresee problems here... ;) I think I'll cheer for Nigeria in that group :D
