Ancient Rusted Key

Post by baileyatbrats »

Okay.
I installed the patch.
I went to area 32 to get the key.
It's not there.
I don't see it in my inventory.
Do I have to re play the game from thatpioint in order for the key to re appeard. (Ancient rusted key that is.)
Is there a cheat?
Huh?
Ho.
Hmmmmm.

What's down the stairs there? Is it worth the effort?

There are no cheats that let you add items to your inventory that i know of. As for the key i don't know if the problems fix if you load a previous save, you might need to restart the game.
Or unistall/reinstall the game and apply the patch, loading a savegame might work that way.

With Ancient Rusted key you can access a small area down to the deep halls, but nothing special so you might as well continue forth. :)

Thank you

I figured that I wasn't missing much, since I'm already in the second level of the cellars.

It's just so frustrating having those un explored areas show up on the map. Like the fog of war from BG series.

I know the feeling :) , but is more frustrating to have to restart the game for almost nothing. ;)

I had the same problem...I'm already running through the Nightingale Court so it obviously wasn't something THAT detrimental to continuing with the game.
