Dragon's Eye Level II help needed

Post by makers »

Zowie. This is my third time through IWD but my first since installing HoW. Looks like they improved the enemy AI a bit so's you can't just pick 'em off one by one. Well, I'm at the part in Dragon's eye where the priests are getting ready to whack Sister Eugenia, but I am stone stuck. Every time I so much as stick my nose in the passage, next thing you know I've got about 6 or 7 trolls on my a$$ and four priests backing them up with holding spells. Can't figure it out. Any help?

Best thing that I have found..for me..is not to go too far in...just enough for one to see you and cast a lot of the area spells you should be far enough away so Sister Eugenia won't be affected.

By staying near the entrance it bottlenecks up your opponents and they come to you.

Keep your party at the passage and place your fighters at the front line to fight the trolls while your mage/archers target the priests that get close to cast their spells. Also a few oils of speed or haste will help a lot.

I have a question about that fight. i began to throw fireballs at them and i hit that good priest with a fireball by accident, i didnt know that and saved the game, i didnt actually killed her, but she's my enemy now, i dont kill her though, so do i have to go to closest auto save and not to attack her, or thats ok?

Eugenia is the actually high priest of Kulduhar that was missing but even if you rescue her she does not return to the temple there IIRC, she just provides some healing on your way deeper into Dragon'e eye as far as i can tell.

So she is not actually a part of the main quest?

I believe so, but i could be wrong cause i never killed her and don't know how the story will continue if you do kill her.
