help game will not play
help game will not play
met all requirements i thought but my video card is a voodoo3 2000 pci with 16mbits. is this the reason the game will not play??? (have amd 800 athlon cpu, 512 megs of ram, 20 gigs hard drive, win98) what card is a good one if this is my problem. thanks

Which game are you trying to install? You might check to see if that game has some issues with the Voodoo cards (a common problem). Also, make sure you have downloaded the latest drivers for your video card.

Saying the same as you HLD, check the requirements of the game for the card, a lot now are asking for 32MB graphic card.

I'd get a newer video card, preferably with AGP bus if your motherboard will support it. The prices on Radeon and GeForce3 cards are coming down, so I'd check into one of those. If your computer will only support PCI bus video, you can still get some of the older ATI Rage Fury cards and I think some GeForce2 cards at reasonable prices.
