Sell Items

Post by debszelda »

Still in the beginning stages of game..haven't had a good day to play it for longer than an hour..quests slowing me down. Couple questions...since I'm still exploring.

1) Are there any places where I can get rid of some of these copper rings that I seem to be collecting? rat tails? There have been a few people I have talked with that allow a buy/sell option but they don't seem to want those rings. Tails I think I've found a place for those "Vermin Control"?

2) Also I've still got those stupid mortuary lists in my inventory, I'm assuming I don't need those?

3) Was never able to turn that one contract into a supposed RING??? The option just keeps going in circles no matter what I do. Must not be important?

4) Got rid of the dude in the masoleum and read his journal... is that important to keep now or is it just a sentimental keepsake.

Thanks for your help!

1) Sell the rings to the Failed Shop (a.k.a. Pawn Shop) in the Lower Ward. The Department of Disease and Vermin control in the Hive will pay good money for the rat tails.

2) Ditch the lists

3) If this is the note from the zombie's mouth you're talking about, do it in this order (going from the 'marks' on the sides)
1
2
0
3
That should give the item

4) The journal is just a neat read, but nothing more. Ditch it.

Drop the Mortuary papers. You're right, they've served their purpose.

There are plenty of merchant shops that will buy copper, silver and gold rings, as well as rat tails, etc. Quint in the Buried Village is one example. Mebbeth in Ragpicker's Square is another. Hint: to maximize price, give all of one item to one of your characters. The price drops after anybody makes a first sale.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Boosting your Charisma with 'Friends' helps also, though it's only really effective if you get it to 25, and works best with the really expensive items (i.e. "Hammer of Communition")
