Collectors Edition

Post by VoodooDali »

They just announced there will be a collector's edition.
The Collector's Edition will contain:

Spiral bound manual
Full color cloth map
Four (4) high quality character cards
Bonus disc
Ice Dice
Black Isle Studios notepad
Icewind Dale and Black Isle Studios stickers

Wonder what's on that bonus disk?

would the collectors edition cost more?
and would you have to get it from a specilist shop, or would it be in your average shop?

The collectors edition will cost a little more and as interplay.com states the game will be available for a limited time only and exclusively at Interplay-store.com.

The stickers are better. A spiral bound manual isn't gonna stick to your forehead (unless you use glue)

I'm a sucker, I ordered it. But I'm rich. :p   Also, the BG manual does not fit in with my collection of Interplay games manuals (BG2, IWD, Starfleet Command) note to self: burn BG manual when I get home.

anyway, spiral bound or not, you could always staple it to your forehead or *gulp*, grab Grunt's omniscent 15 hp Nail Gun of Painliness +5 (with a compass in the stock). That, of course, may be extreme. What again is the purpose for attaching the manual to our heads???? :D

You're asking this question, why?

You need no reason from me, Ned. Like Nike says, just do it. :D

[CespenarVoice]Oooh, Ice Dice! Shiny ones![/CespenarVoice] You know, at first I wasn't going to bother with this but those fancy dice cinched the deal. Go Collector's Edition! Image Image
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

It's the *high quality* character cards that sealed the deal for me. But only because they're *high quality*.
