Crazy number of Messengers!! (spoilers)

I've just started a new game, wanted to see how the Monk plays, and see some new NPCs in action..

My group did the circus quest in the promenade, then met with Nalia and got her quest, then went to the gates and got the trademeet quest.

I've finished up both of those quests ( Mostly, see my trademeet guard's post in the ToB forum for more detail ) and have returned to the city, specifically the Government district.. It is now day 15.

Upon entering I recieved the following visits/dialogues.. one after the other...

1) Valen telling me that I have a choice, that I should go to the graveyard.

2) Igarol meeting with Cernd and revealing that Cernd has a son.

3) Aerie & Cernd talking about cities vs. groves.

4) A message for Aerie from Quayle.

5) A message for Nalia regarding her father's funeral

6) A message from Gaelen delivered by Brus.

Is it just me or is this a massive number of encounters to occur in the one spot?

Welcome to chapter 2, all the quests you mentioned are supposed to happen thick and fast. You can find a detailed walkthrough right here at GameBanshee.

Or you can do a search on keywords in this forum itself.
