I just got home from water survival training and this was brought up-

"What are the odds that I'll go down in a helicopter?"

Our Instructor said that at the heliport on the very day that HE did go down in one. They were rescued after ONLY 8 Hours in the gulf waters! :eek: I am waiting for my turn. :( The odds are 1 in 4 if you spend a career out there.

For those that don't know- I work as an Oil and Gas Operator in the Gulf of Mexico. And we fly out and in every week. ;)
