I think flat panel LCD monitors are a waste of money. They save a little bit of space by not needing a massive CRT display, but bang for buck, I'd rather have a 21" or 25" CRT monitor for the same price as a 15" or 17" LCD.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

Well not for gaming, web browsing, work that type of thing they are perfect for, but CRT is still better for gaming due to the refresh rates, plus CRT has better resolutions, there are more reasons, don't have time at the moment.Originally posted by Aenarion
So, whats the deal with these? How do they work, and is it worth it to buy one?
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Tom's Hardware Guide had a recent review of LCD screens - and mentioned many of the pitfalls of them.
Basically as it stands they are just inferior to the CRT format. Only usefull for space-saving environments.
