Question about efreeti

Post by Wen »

I'm currently playing SoA with the ToB expansion. Right now I'm somewhere in Chapter 2. One thing I've noticed that's sort of odd is: why do efreeti turn into gas clouds when they die and not die outright? This is getting really annoying because after a little while, the gas cloud eventually reforms into the efreet. And it gets REALLY annoying because I have to keep killing them over and over unless I flee the area, and there's no way I can kill the gas cloud. I haven't noticed this happening until now. BTW I do have the latest ToB patch. Can anyone figure out what's going on here? Thanks in advance for any help.

Sappy69, You have to do more damage to them in a shorter time frame. Alternative solution is to run away leave the map and return later. - Curdis
The warlord sig of 's' - word

Making a reappearance for those who have a sig even longer

they do that to escape the battle and heal themselves.

What you should do is hit them hard and fast, so that they die before turnig into a gas cloud
Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time. Therefore, if I ever happen to become an Evil Overlord, ...

I think the Efreeti should only do that two times at most.

At any rate, if you rest next to a gasseous form, they vanish. :D
