u cannot romance neone in ToB unless you have romanced them in SoA
Bel Haladrin - paranoid elven fighter - proud member of The Blades of the Banshee
Pretty weak if you ask me. Personaly, I think it would be amusing if the NPCs developed relations. Off hand, Nalia and Sarevok would be interesting, as would Cernd Mazzy, etc. Would make the game far mor interesting. And like the PC and vicy/jahria/aerie are the only ones knocking boots after you adventure together for so long
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.
So I just stood and listened.

Actually, Haer'Dalis and Aerie have a bit of a romance, don't know how it ends up if you don't romance Aerie. Mazzy and Valygar develop a relationship of a kind...Mazzy takes Valygar as her squire
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. They called out for a champion.........one man answered that call. His name, was Robin Hood. Fearless in his quest for justice Robin Hood challenged the power of the high warlords. While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............
To start new romance in ToB, use the Multi-Romance patch - but only copy the file for the character that you want to romance into the Override directory.
Aerie - AERI25.BCS
Anomen - ANOM25.BCS
Jaheira - JAHE25.BCS
Viconia - VICO25.BCS
I have separated the Multi-Romance from the Happy Script, making it easier to use, you can download it from the BG2 Patches section of my site.

I would like to play TOB with my main character being a mage who had duelled
from a Kensai when he was ~10 level. Would also like to create a Fighter who
had duelled from a thief when they were ~10 level. And would also like to
romance Aerie. Will have no problems creating the above mentioned Mage and
Fighter in SOA and importing them to TOB but can't work how to import Aerie
and be able to romance her in TOB without having played through SOA. Could I
import Aerie into my TOB multiplayer setup and set her LOVETALK and
AERIEROMANCEACTIVE globals to some certain values to ensure that I get some
?
I don't know if there are NPCs interaction in multiplayer mode, I have never played multiplayer before. Why don't you just create the multiplayer game, then copy it to the Save directory and load it as a Single Player game. Download the Multi-Romance, copy the file AERI25.BCS into the Override folder, load up the single player game, summon Aerie and the romance will be activated. You can summon her from your pocket plane, talk to the statues on either sides of the entrance.

Thanks for your speedy reply Sabre. Good point about multi-player mode. Have also been told that all I have to do is import Aerie in and set AerieRomanceActive variable
to 2 and everything should be sweet. Will also download this file AERI25.BCS of yours. Haven't started TOB yet and don't understand what you mean by these statues, or pocket plane but presume you are referring to some place in TOB.
