No gems

After defeating Demagorgon, shouden't their appear 2 gems(gold and silver)?

It could be I'm mistaking about the patch (not gonna read the whole list again), if so where are they supposed to appear with (what patch?), and can I clua the gems into the game now or do I need to kill demagorgon again?

I found the Golden Ioun Stone somewhere in the beginning of ToB, and the Silver was for sale. I'm sorry I don't know the locations anymore

When you say beginning, is that before you go to the southrn part of the map?
