Damn Draconis!!!!

Post by Tutoric »

I have almost had that SOB three times, 2 he cornered my PC and once I beat him but lost Imoen permanently. I thought the "big six" were tough but this guy takes the cake so far.

Anyone got a sure fire takeout I maybe haven't thought of, or is it pretty much lower his resistance, dispel his protections, and cross your fingers?

Here's what I did: Before you approach him, set a bunch of traps on the ground back on the stairs. Then go ahead and approach him, defeat his human form, and when he changes to dragon form, try to lead him to the traps. Make sure you've gotten rid of as many of his invisible stalkers as possible, though. They tend to set of the traps before he hits them. The traps will usually kill him or almost kill him.

One of the better things to do to keep him away from your party is to cast Mordenkainen's sword. Most of the damage from the dragon can not effect the sword this will give you more time to hit the dragon heavy and fast. ;)

Finally got him! I think the key is to keep his help away from your spell casters so they can do their thing.
