Some more bugs, and something about clones

Post by King Leoric »

I don't know why, but the lava in the secound challenge at the abissal fortress doesn't change to water after killing myself and the gang, and i don't know why...

Also, i noticed that if i have a chain contingency on, and my projected image casts a chain cont (i know it wont work, but...), and when i try to open the wizard's spellbook, the game crashes.

Has anybody experienced these problems? Are there any solutions? And also, don't you think it sucks that clones cannot use contingencies/triggers & co.?

For sequencers, i like putting 3x Skull Trap (assuming all the saves are made, the average damage is of 105 hp on a 30 feet radius!!!!), and releasing it after having cast a limited wish to make the party invulnerable, but clones neither receive the minor globe of invulnerability nor can cast the sequencers
Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time. Therefore, if I ever happen to become an Evil Overlord, ...

I get a game crash if I select a clone, that clone expires/dies and I open the Wizard Book.

If clones also got the contingencies, that would have been too much. :D They already make the game waaay too easy. Hand out Mind Flayer Control Circlets, read the same Scroll of Protection from Magic before every Mage battle, cast all your high level spells twice... I don't understand why anyone would ever fill a level 7/8 slot with anything but clones! Well, maybe one Spell Trigger, but that's all.
