*spoilers* Hangmans Tree in the Swamp (is there a secret?)

So, during my second playthrough I noticed that if you go to Big scary swamp to the south east of the map (were the locked bandit hut is) exactly during midnight, and stand by the tree with the hanged elves, a night wraith with a random female name will appear and attack you. Every night the wraith has a different female name.

Is that supposed to be a statement as to were all the female elven women are ending after Loredo is done with them, or is there a pattern that must be followed in order to unlock something?
