Warwitch: via Battlemage or Paladin?

My character is going to be a Warwitch. Currently, she is an Adept/Mage, and going on the Enchantress path. What should my second path be? Paladin or Battlemage? Paladin offers increased weapon skill learning bonus, as well as better Celestial and Rune Magic. Battlemage offers better Arcane Magic and better Repair Skill. Note that even without Battlemage, I still have three learning bonuses to Arcane. (Mage, Enchantress and Warwitch.)

I relied heavily on the "shards of stones" a rune magic spell. That rune magic bonus came in handy.

That said, making friends with the shaman in Skuldoon has definite benefits.

You can never have too many learning bonuses, and with enough Arcane, you can completely ignore Rune magic if you want. Also, since you picked Enchantress over Valkyrie, I'm guessing you're focusing on magic over melee, which means you should pick Battlemage over Paladin.
