MC: Fighter-2 weapon fighter
PC1: Rogue- Skill monkey
PC2: Cleric- battle cleric secondary tank/healer
PC3: Wizard: Generalist/problem solver
PC4: Paladin- Tank
PC5: Sorcerer- Nuker

Thats what im lookin at for directly off the boat in Targos. I have no clue for race or anything else for decent optimization. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums! :)

Races for your PC's are really quite flexible. If you want to do the power gaming route, there are a couple of helpful "stickys" above with suggestions on maximizing race/class. How you distribute your points makes a big difference as well.

Some general guidelines are Asimar are great choices for Paladins or Clerics. Drow also make good Clerics or mages but have a (2) level adjustment. Asimar (or Tieflings) just have 1 level. Tieflings, other than obvious rogue, make good monks. With extra charisma that the race gets, I made a nifty sorceror out of an Asimar in one party. Deep Gnomes make good illusionists and rogues (multiclass as both) but suffer a (3) level adjustment. Because any elf automatically gets proficiencies in bow and long sword, I like to use them. A Drow cleric for example, can use a bow and longsword, which is pretty handy. Some races don't work well in some classes, such as a Half-Orc Sorceror, but could be fun from a role playing stand point. But, really most races work well with most classes. Bottom line, have fun.

If you want to do physical damage maximize strength.
13+ dex allows taking some useful feats.
Int can be dumped to the minimum for everyone except the wizard and thief.
Wis is only useful for the cleric and paladin, not for the other classes. There are far more useful stats.
Cha can be dumped to the minimum for everyone but the sorcerer and maybe paladin.
Here's an example for a party with your desired classes:
stats (str-dex-con-int-wis-cha)

Half-orc fighter 20-18-18-1-16-1
Human rogue 18-18-18-16-3-3
Dwarf cleric 18-16-20-3-18-1
Dwarf wizard 16-18-20-18-3-1
Aasimar paladin 18-14-18-3-13-14
Human sorcerer 16-18-18-3-18-3
