Baelnorn Demon (possible spoilers)

I'm doing the five statues quest and I'm in the Gem Mines. The walkthrough doesn't mention these demons and the search returned nothing with "Baelnorn" as a search term.

These things hit hard and are impossible to hit in return. I've got my character (Mage), Khelgar (Monk), Casiver (Pally), Jarro (Fighter) and the Gith character (cleric).

I haven't had an issue hitting anything thusfar in the game although there have been tough fights. What gives with this demon?

A Baelnorn is a Lich (a good lich).. they are supposed to be tough.

Note the various immunities and proceed with attacks that don't fall under those immunities. In other words try fire damage: flame arrow, or magical damage: magic missile or the Issac's. Preferably EMPOWERED. Its Reflex save isn't that good either, and it has no spell resistance (i.e. Greater Issacs is "golden").
