So, I've played mostly through the game and I need some small answers. My inventory is mostly full of "supplies" and random stuff that I hate to ditch, but I don't want to keep them if they have no use. First - the blank vellum scrolls. I've done some of each kind of crafting and no indication that scrolls are necessary for anything; so sell them or save them for some random quest? Second - "private documents." These say they are random lists of stuff but I have no quest for them; so again: sell or keep? Finally, any advise on which crafting skills are not worth the slots? I figure that herbalism is useful simply for the healing poultices which are cheap to make but expensive and sometimes hard to find. Is poison-making worth it? Are traps really that useful? Thanks for any answers!
You can sell blank vellums and private documents. They're not used for anything. You can also sell gems. Only garnets are needed for a quest.
I never really bothered with traps or poisons.

While they aren't critical... keeping certain gems can come in handy later on in the game. I can't recall which, exactly, though, I think it are the mid-range gems (sapphire, topaz, malachite and quartz)
As to traps and poisons, I really like using them, they add a fun dimension to the game. However, it really depends on your personal play style... I like rogues a lot, so they make sense for me.

The accurate list should be Sapphires, Amethysts, Malachites and Topazes. Also, as DW notes, traps and poisons can add an additional, fun dimension to the game, but aren't crucial by any stretch of the imagination.dragon wench wrote:While they aren't critical... keeping certain gems can come in handy later on in the game. Can all be safely sold. Just make sure that nothing is a gift. But otherwise, you're free to turn that stuff into vendor trash.Vhailin wrote:What about the fancy vase? engraved silver bowl? and chalise?
