I'm trying to figure out how many 3.5 divine casting (base) classes there are. All source books included. For this and similar problems, is there any resource online or in book form that lists them all?

I'm looking to get my hands on complete divine now. Any other book out there that might not be included in that?

Crystal Keep Home Page can help you track down some sources. I know Dragon mag 311 or 312 has variant divine casters.
Dragonlance Campaign setting has the Mystic, which is kind of a Favoured Soul.
Unearthed Arcana also has variants, including a Divine Bard, I think.
Oriental Advantures has the Shugenja, but IIRC, that's also in Complete Divine.

Thanks, that was a big help. So far it appears there aren't any divine spellcasters that get 2 domains like normal but use charisma instead of wisdom for spellcasting.

I need one to make the three prestige classes my build work well together. I pleaded for a Favoured Soul with my DM, but he corrected me by stating that Favoured Souls don't gain access to domains. That put a quick end to about a week worth of build contemplation on my behalf.

I have only one week left to either come up with something new or fix this.

One of the variants in Dragon Mag uses Charisma. I believe the Mystic does too, but don't quote me on that. Several PrCs add Domains, most notably PrCs from Complete Divine, Complete Champion and Book of Exalted Deeds. I know several DMs that allow you to trade the Favoured Soul's weapon feats for Domains, but that's fully in the domain of houserules.
What kind of build are you trying to make? I can probably help.

Alright. I've been greatly frustrated over a simple thing, being able to construct a build that doesn't really work like any other mage/thief/fighter type. And due to that I started looking at rare PrCs to spice things up. That pretty much resulted in all the posts I made at the D&D forum over the past day or ten.

I stumbled on the Spellfire Channeler PrC (by chance I had actually already read the related novels when I was a teenager), and I became intrigued with the idea of letting a build revolve around high constitution (more stored spellfire levels) and high charisma (better spellfire DC).

To strenghten my Spellfire Channeler, I found several other PrC's that added bonuses to consitution and charisma. By far the most useful is the Heartwarder (Faiths and Pantheons). It eventually grants a +5 charisma bonus, which is extremely handy for the DC. The downside of this PrC is its steep requirements: lv 3 devine spellcasting and Dodge/Mobility, which require 13 DEX and 13 Wisdom. The build *has* to start out with 18 Constitution and a little Intelligence as well, which leaves very little left for Charisma. It almost entirely negates the Heartwarder bonus.

I can't do anything about the DEX requirement for those feats, but I might be able to get rid of the wisdom requirement for 3rd level divine spells - *if* the spellcaster in question uses charisma instead of wisdom.

So that's 'unnamed divine spellcaster'/Spellfire Channeler/Heartwarder. Before turning to the 3rd PrC, the spellcaster would see a major alignment shift to evil in a classic attempt to gain more power (considering the character would at this point be chaotic good as well as Fey, it would be a nice story twist to be sure). The character would become a Disciple of Baalzebul (Book of Vile Darkness), a PrC which grants an additional 4 points to Charisma.

The thing about a build focussing on Spellfire is that it has very little need for combat and spellcasting feats, as spellfire is handled differently. I can focus pretty much on gaining whatever requirement is needed to get access to the following PrC (either by means of a required feat, or by adding a skill focus feat). That in turn allows for some pretty creative thinking, PrC wise.

Before I forget, the two domains (I do not yet know which) have been set as a requirement for the campaign. I think it is because I will be the only cleric in the party and my spellcasting abilities are not up to par. This is beyond my control.

I was able to put the issue to rest. The Dynamic Priest feat (Dragonlance) apparently allows a cleric to cast spells with his charisma instead. Works for me. ;)
