So after finishing the Alien Mothership Zeta Expansion one of my many spoils are several hundred large and small alien crystals. I've read that they can be used on weapons, but it was never explained how. Obviously they can be sold for lots of caps, but I just wanted to know if they have any use to them before I hawk them to a vendor.
Biogel can be used on you, epoxy can be used on your weapons, but the crystals are just vendor trash.

They can be used just like every other "aid" item, except they repair your weapon rather than healing you.

I don't know if the epoxy uses your repair skill in any way, but it works on any weapon.
