multiplayer

I have played the game a while and want to play online
with multiplayers.

When I get to the entry screen I choose multiplayer instead of Single
player.

My next option is Lan or Internet, I choose Internet

next option is Direct IP of Gamespy, I choose Gamespy.

Next screen shows player name, CD key, port
Game name & password (none)

Then I go to connect.

At the bottom of the screen I get
Connected to Internet Lobby
Successfully authenticated, Connecting to Lobby...
Entering Lobby

If I go to Join Game I get the message
Choose a game session before pressing join

I press Game session and nothing hapens

What am I doing wrong ?

I can only think of one problem

You are not enabled to host games, depending on your internet provider it will or will not let you host games. I found out that was MY problem, however switching over to belkin and other things I don't bother remembering due to pure frustration. However, I got windows 7 now and such and well... lost all my game progress for the fourth time, first was because it got corrupted, 2nd was because my hard drive Seriously caught on fire, third was because my hard drive got all messed up and this time because of a whole entirely new computer.

I am thinking of installing the game and giving it another shot, so if by then I do and I get it up and going, maybe I can host a game and you and can do some playing on Multiplayer.

But either way I'd say it is because you can't host. That's the only thing that comes to my mind at the given time.
