Use magical devices: not for warlocks?

Use magical devices: not for warlocks?
I've got a warlock with 10 points invested in the Use magical devices skill. Found a wand of frost, but the item won't work for her. It would seem to me that it should--since the whole purpose of the skill is for classes that can't use magical devices (such as wands) to have access to them. What's wrong, here?

I believe the number of points you need in UMD is determined (in part) by the value of the item you're trying to equip. So I'm guessing the Wand of Frost is valuable enough that you need more than 10 points.

If the warlock requires a UMD of 10 to use a wand, then I already have that. So I can only guess that the linked content is out of date, given further bugfixes and changes.

Hm, good point. I actually more than once noticed either content that was changed, or copied from the d20srd too directly. It's still probably the best NWN2 resource available though.

Positive. I just might post it there, though I'd frankly be surprised if someone in the past hasn't already pointed it out.
