Stories-Bones-Tell - Help!!

Does anyone know of a way to acquire this ability if I killed Stale Mary early in the game? It now appears to be important and I'm way past the point where I would consider loading a game saved that long ago...

Um, no. I think she's the only way to get that ability. Mind, it's not really required to complete the game.

I'm quite sure you can acquire this in Clerk's ward, by speaking to Finely the linguist. You might need some kind of book or notes also, but they can also be found in this area. Good luck and post again if you need more details!

Nope, thats something else: You need to learn the language of Udo(?) to read the Dodehecaron(?), one of your journals. You can either learn it by bringing the linguis his book back from the brothel, or by "talking" to the ashes of his father(?), with the Storis-Bones-Tell ability...
